Electric radiators vs. traditional heating

Electric radiators

Many times we don’t know what’s the best way to heat our homes or work space during colder months. Before choosing between an electric radiator or a traditional heating system, it is important to know their differences. Haverland clarifies our doubts.

What are electric radiators?

Electric radiators are a type of efficient low-consumption heating system that connects to the electrical network. These heating systems allow the consumption and temperature to be adjusted at any time and very easy to use. In addition, they are a 100% environmentally friendly, because they don’t consume oxygen or produce smoke or gasses.

Another advantage of electric radiators is that their system works with thermal inertia, so it heats a room for longer compared to any other heating system, using 30% less energy. This is the best option if we’re looking to save on the electricity bill. Traditional heating systems don’t have this advantage and it will be reflected in the energy bill.

To achieve low consumption, it is necessary for the device to have the most advanced technology. Haverland’s thermal emitters, offer a homogeneous and long-lasting distribution, and therefore, greater thermal comfort. In addition, they are manufactured under the eco-design directive of the European Union.

Haverland’s options:

Within its range of products, the RCTT Connect smart electric radiator stands out, which has an exclusive Wi-Fi pairing system with which the device can be controlled from any smartphone or tablet. Its GPS function lets you turn the radiator on or off when you are away from home. And, through the Haverland app, you will be able to turn the radiators on or off remotely, adjust the temperature, program the day and hours, and control electricity consumption in real time.

Another flagship product is the SIMPLY Bluetooth®: quality, precision and technology in the same device with high thermal inertia fluid and high precision electronic thermostat. It also has an exclusive Bluetooth pairing system to program the device from any mobile or tablet. Again, technology applied to reduce energy consumption as much as possible.
